Fatima Ishiaku who is the author of the book “I Called Him Dad” was invited to share her experience live on Kaftan TV on the last week on the 11th of December 2019.
She shared her experience of how she was raped by a man who she thought was her father from a very tender age till the age of 14.
Turning her trauma to a learning point, she wants parents and guidance to be deliberate about protecting their girl child from all forms of abuse.
Today, she has decided to break the silence and stop the menace sexual abuse of the girl child that is becoming a norm in our society.
